Far-UV Spectral Morphology

All of the observed O-type spectra are illustrated in Figures 1 and 2. Only the 920--1280 Å range is displayed, since higher resolution data at longer wavelengths have already been discussed. The variable WN object HD 5980 is shown in the accompanying Letter by [Schulte-Ladbeck et al. 1995]. The principal spectral features are identified in the figures and captions. At the HUT resolution many of them are stellar and/or interstellar blends, but in most cases a dominant origin can be specified. The Copernicus observations were very useful in arriving at these identifications ([Walborn & Bohlin 1995]); the studies of Puppis by [Morton & Underhill 1977] and [Morton 1978] were especially helpful.
